Queenstown Wrap - Its Quiet!
Luckily for the Southern Lakes & Queenstown we have RPTD shooting its 2nd Season as there is not much else going on – Thank you Screentime & Philly. There are rumours floating of work coming in the New Year, but not much locked in at this stage (other than the Auckland based and crewed Zelda for some location work).
We have had a few jobs through winter to keep crew working. Jen Peedom’s feature film ‘Tenzing’ shooting at Mt Cook and here in Queenstown through July. It was a great shoot, full of mountains and helicopters – amazing photo reel of snowy mountains at sunset on the end of day flights home. There were a couple of Winter Olympic TVC’s- Delta shooting with 4 US Olympians and Paralympians - and a few other jobs from a Malaysian Rally Car shoot with Hayden Paton, to an Australian “micro-budget” Thriller.
You know it’s not that busy when you can remember all the jobs (and count them on one hand). Roll on summer, maybe we will get to enjoy it, and please bring some work our way (from late January if possible).
