Entries for the 2026 New Zealand Screen Awards open tomorrow, Tuesday 30 June 2026.

The Awards celebrate outstanding screen work created and shared with audiences across Aotearoa, and submissions are now invited across eligible television and film categories.

For television entries, eligible work must have had its first New Zealand broadcast between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026.

For film entries, eligible work must have had its first theatrical release between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026.

Before submitting, entrants are encouraged to review the Terms and Conditions and visit the New Zealand Screen Awards website for the full list of categories, entry information and submission details.
