Free WeCreate AI Workshop Series for the Creative Sector

WeCreate is sharing a series of four free AI workshops, delivered by the team at academyEX and designed specifically for people in the creative sector.

The workshops will run on the third Monday of each month over the next four months:

AI and You

A practical introduction to AI for creative professionals

AI is becoming part of everyday business, but the tools, terminology and risks can be hard to assess. This session will help participants understand what generative AI is, what different AI tools are available, and where they may support a creative business.

The session will explore the strengths and limitations of AI, the differences between common types of tools, and key considerations around privacy, accuracy and responsible use. The focus is on helping participants make informed decisions about what tool to choose.

Participants are encouraged to bring a simple business task, question or example where they are curious about whether AI could help.

The session will explore how generative AI works, compare different tools and outcomes, and look at privacy, security and practical ways to assess AI tools and AI software vendors.

Participants will leave with:

• a clear understanding of what generative AI can and cannot do
• a practical framework for using AI safely and responsibly
• a simple checklist for reviewing AI-generated outputs
