Minister to Announce Key Changes to NZ Screen Production Rebate
Hon Nicola Willis will announce new rebate policy settings that could significantly impact international screen production in NZ.

On Friday 7 November Hon Nicola Willis, Minister for Economic Growth, will be making an announcement about upcoming changes to the New Zealand Screen Production Rebate for international productions.
According to MBIE these changes “will outline new policy settings designed to strengthen New Zealand’s position as a global screen destination.”
Over the last year, lobbying by the screen industry has intensified to make the New Zealand Screen Production Rebate more competitive and attractive to international productions. This includes work done by Screen NZ International, whose industry research survey we supported back in July.
