Nominations for Day One’s New Filmmaker Awards - Entries Close 28 September 2025
New Filmmaker Awards which is aimed at those of you in the industry, aged 19-29 has three categories for the awards: Spirit, Vision and Craft.
The nomination should take 10 minutes or so, and if you and your peers nominate each other, you'll have more chances of being recognised!

For those of you in your last two years of high school, we have the AUT Promising Young Storytelling Award for filmmakers in year 12 or 13 (or equivalent in alternative schooling). Get a teacher, friend, family member or collaborator to nominate you and you can be in to win an 11-inch iPad Pro!!
