Pets on Set: Frankie

There’s a lot more to working in film than what happens on set. Long before the cameras roll, there’s prep to be done, kit to organise and rental houses to visit, and that’s where Frankie comes in.

Frankie brings what her human Michael affectionately describes as “manic spaniel energy” to every prep day, making sure things keep moving. She tags along for the ride, keeps a close eye on Michael’s kit and comes appropriately dressed for those Panavision runs - #panapup bandana and all.

When she’s off duty, Frankie keeps busy too. This August, she took part in PAWGUST, helping raise funds for Blind Low Vision NZ Guide Dogs.

Some dogs do set. Frankie does prep.
