Show Me Shorts is continuing its winter season with Turkish short film nights arriving in cinemas across Aotearoa over the coming months.

Presented in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in New Zealand, the programme showcases five contemporary Turkish short films featuring intimate drama, mystery, animation and climate futures. The collection explores themes of resilience, grief, discovery and survival through bold, visually distinctive storytelling. Showtimes and ticket details are below.

Show Me Shorts is also reminding filmmakers that the late submission deadline for the 2026 Show Me Shorts Film Festival is coming up on 1 June. Filmmakers with short films ready for festival consideration are encouraged to submit before the deadline.
