Thunderlips Hit the Road for Mum, I’m Alien Pregnant Q&A Tour

Kicking off on Friday 28 August with a visit to the Te Awamutu Space Centre, followed by a screening at The Regent Theatre, the director duo will tour seven cities in the lead-up to the September 10 release of MUM, I’M ALIEN PREGNANT.

Stops will include Te Whatu Stardome Auckland, Rialto Dunedin and The Roxy, Miramar for a very special Feast Your Eyes screening, where audiences can pair their film experience with a bespoke MUM, I’M ALIEN PREGNANT inspired degustation menu.

THUNDERLIPS will be joined by cast throughout the tour.

This Aotearoa slime filled comedy follows Mary and Boo, both 20-something shut-ins living with their mums. Mary’s dreams of moving out are put on hold by a projectile-insemination situation that escalates into an unwanted alien pregnancy and she must overcome sceptical doctors, a useless baby-daddy and her oversharing mum in order to reclaim her life. The result is an outrageous heartfelt story about family and the awkward relationships that come with.
