Want to attend Big Screen Symposium 2026?
Screen CanterburyNZ is offering two scholarships to support Canterbury screen practitioners to attend the Big Screen Symposium in Auckland.

The scholarships aim to help local industry professionals connect with the wider screen community, gain industry insights, and take part in one of Aotearoa’s leading screen industry events.
Scholarship includes
• Full event ticket
• $300 travel and accommodation grant

Friday 17 April 2026
Eligibility criteria
To apply you must be:
• Based in Canterbury
• Currently working in or actively pursuing a career in the screen industry
• Available and able to commit to attending both days of the event (3–4 July)
• Must not have received this scholarship from Screen CanterburyNZ in the last two years
