NZFC to Reintroduce Short Film Pod Initiative
The New Zealand Film Commission has announced it will reintroduce its Short Film Pod initiative.

The initiative will reboot an Executive Producer-led funding model designed to support emerging filmmaking talent. According to the NZFC, it will also give established producers the opportunity to mentor new filmmakers while developing their own skills.
Head of Funding Ainsley Gardiner said she previously led one of the Pods herself, describing it as
a great way to support a wide range of emerging filmmakers while giving more experienced producers the chance to mentor new talent and develop their own skills.
Further details, including a call for Expressions of Interest, will be released later this month.
