Screen Accelerator Project: Unscripted 2026 with Jon Kroll is back for the 5th year!
Emmy-award winning Hollywood producer Jon Kroll will work with producers to develop their idea(s) for unscripted content - specifically documentaries, docu-drama series or formatted TV shows so they can pitch to genuine global buyers.
The project is a 6-week programme consisting of one in-person workshop in Wellington (2 days), followed by 5 weeks of online mentoring from Jon and the team from Tall Poppy Films.
Registrations open: Wednesday 4th March
Registrations close: Monday 30th March
Workshop Dates: Friday 1st May and Saturday 2nd May
Workshop Venue: Yoobee College of Creative Innovation, Wellington Railway Station, 2 Bunny St, Te Whanganui-a-Tara
Cost: Free-of-charge with kai provided (participants will need to cover their own travel & accommodation costs)
Online Pitching: Wednesday 17th June
Who can apply: Screen producers, emergent through to seasoned professionals, from across Aotearoa New Zealand
