This Friday, 5 December at 2:00 p.m., we are asking all productions across Aotearoa to put tools down and observe a two-minute silence in recognition of the industry colleagues we have lost this week.

It has been an extraordinarily difficult time for our sector, with several cherished members of our film whānau passing away far too soon. This collective pause is an opportunity for all crews, wherever you are working to stand together, to acknowledge our shared grief, and to honour the contributions of those no longer with us.

This initiative is a further way of bringing our Film Family together in both support and remembrance. We encourage all producers, HODs, and production teams to please ensure this moment is respected on set.
